Latifa released her KHALIJI album ATAHADDA
YallaFan-Beirut
Diva Latifa released her KHALIJI album ATAHADDA from Beirut at a press conference held with Platinum records that took care of its distribution.
It all started with Latifa sighing and greeting the great nights of Lebanon as well as all of the Arab world. To note, the conference was crowded by the best of media means and representatives that came along from all over the region and north Africa as well as her home land Tunisia. About this wonderful gathering she said she wouldn't be sweet or happy if all of her guests weren't there with her.
The all time star was known for being dedicated for the Arabic issues and pains and refused the fact when artists are judged for singing in the Egyptian, Lebanese, KHALIJI, or any other dialects for she believes that we should take away the borders' matters and vanities from our heads, we are all Arabs and should act and sing accordingly.
This came as an answer to why did she release a KHALIJI album, this was because she was in a visit to Qatar for Ghazza children case and to stand by them, and she was supposed to stay there for three days only but eventually the visit lasted for two months throughout which she met Abdel Aziz Annasser and Mohamed Marzouki and later on come out with her latest album.
According to Latifa, it is a responsibility to sing in different dialects, and gave many examples like the great Houssein Jasmi singing a Tunisian song in Cartage or when Ahlam did the same, or any other singer to sing in KHALIJI or Egyptian like Saber Roubaai and many more, for this reason, the artist is not supposed to be 100% proficient or fluent in the dialect but he is rather meant to add his own soul and special flavor to the song as how Julio Iglesias used to do back in time.
When asked about the album's sales and how is that related to the success of an album or an artist, the star answered that the market is full of piracy and illegal sales, this is why the success of an album or a star is shown throughout people especially children that are great listeners, and feel directly. Latifa also expressed her interest in singing a Moroccan song and appreciated the efforts that north African and Moroccans go through to deliver their arts to the whole world.
The beautiful singer added that we should fight intruders and invaders throughout art too, they try, especially Israel try to overcome us because we are not united, the great Nidal Ahmadiyeh spoke during the conference and commented on Latifa's new experience saying that she isn't an intruder to KHALIJI singing, it's the way around.
